Even
though Kit didn't know what was going on, she had fun and really enjoyed
Christmas. She got to see her cousins from Arizona: Tess, Chloe, and
Lucy. Kit really likes her cousin Kaden. He is nice and shares toys
with her (the best an almost 2 year old can do). Same with Abbie--she
loves to bring Kit toys to play with.
My
Mom gave Kit a toy cell phone and a giggle doll. Kit loves the giggle doll. You
push the tummy and it giggles.
I crocheted a few
winter hats for her. This is one of them. I also made some baby
booties and a hoodie sweater.
Kit
loves books. She pats the pages whenever a book is open in front of
her--especially the Hymn book at church. Santa gave Kit one of my favorite
books as a little kid, Where's Spot?
You can tell when Kit is excited because she will sit with her hands like this. It is almost as if she is saying, "What's next?" There was one toy she got from Santa that was wrapped
with some ribbon. As we were opening it, she was just fascinated with the
ribbon. From Santa, Kit got stacking cups and a tower with rings on it.
Once
our tree was decorated, Kit loved to look at in while she was eating in her
high chair. We would turn on the lights and she would stare at the tree. Next year, it is going to be interesting with Kit and the Christmas tree. I hope she doesn't have a fetish with pulling things off the tree--she does love knocking over towers that we build with her blocks and stacking cups.
