6 Months...

I can't believe it has been 6 months since Kit was born.  She is growing so much everyday.  Her little personality is coming out more and more. At her 6 month doctors appointment she weighs 13.6 pounds and is 25.75 inches. She is just a petite girl.

1.  She loves music.  Anything that has to do with music Kit loves.  Our piano has a setting where all you have to do is push the keys and it will play the song for you.  She loves to sit at the piano and "play" the songs.  She is really good at playing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star".  She has a bunch of toys that play music and those are her favorite ones.

2.  We started Kit on rice cereal last month.  She did really well.  She loves to eat rice cereal.  We are going to start giving her vegetables next week.  I bought sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, bananas, peaches, and pears. I can't wait for her to try these foods.  We are also going to experiment with oatmeal cereal.  While she is eating she will reach out and grab the spoon and help me feed her.  She loves being Miss Independent and figuring things out herself.

3.  Kit is a rolling machine.  The other day she was with Mark in the Study and she was playing with her play mat.  She rolled off the play mat and out the door into the hallway.  She is starting to go up on her knees a little bit.  She doesn't do it all the time, but every once in a while I will see her little bum going up in the air. 

4. Kit loves bath time. She has a rubber ducky that she loves to play with. She will kick and splash the whole time.
