8 months old

Kit is now 8 months.  Kit is now sitting up on her own!  She loves to army crawl and explore the kitchen.  When she gets tired or bored she will stop and sit up.  There have been many mornings when Mark or I go into to get her in the morning and she is sitting up in her crib playing.  She likes to sit with her right leg extended and her left leg tucked underneath her.

 

She is still super skinny. When you watch this video, you will notice that her pants are coming off as she is crawling.  They are 9 month pants and they are still huge on her.  However, her 6 month pants are getting way too short...what to do? what to do??  She is eating a lot during the day and she is still super skinny.  Should I be worried??

Today while she was army crawling into the kitchen, she stopped by the stairs and pulled herself up on the first stair and climbed up on it.  Lately she has been reaching up to things trying to pull herself up.  She sill get up on her knees like she is going to crawl, but then she will go down to her stomach and army crawl.

Kit got a new toy last week.  It is a giraffe where you stick balls inside and they come out.  Just today, Kit is starting to do it herself.  She get so excited when they go in. 









Kit is getting more and more like a little girl.  She is very curious and is always exploring and investigating things. You can tell when she is trying to figure things out and she is not afraid to try new things.  Kit loves people.  She is not afraid of strangers.  Whenever we are at the store she is always smiling at people and showing off her cuteness.
