College Game Day

College Game Day came to Provo this weekend. (Here is a little secret...I watch this show every Saturday morning with Mark and always wanted to go to it!! Now I can cross it off my list.) The race was on to think of a creative sign. Mark and Jake thought of creating giant heads of the people on the show plus of Mr. T and LaVell Edwards. This shows you how big they were. I am 5' 4". Lee Corso (the one in front of me) was the biggest, and he was almost as tall as me!

We got over to the set at about 6 am. When we got there it looked like a mini-village. There were hundreds of tents in the parking lot. Who in their right mind would want to sleep on a hard parking lot in the rain? Not me!! The show started at about 8 am. It was so much fun. We positioned ourselves so we would be right in front of the camera's that were being used the most.

If you look carefully behind the cheerleaders, you can see our faces! Not being biased or anything, but we definitely had the best signs there!! So many people came up to us when it was over and took a picture of the heads.

We had speech bubbles, but they didn't work out too well.

This is the coolest BYU cop ever. Look at the pile behind him. All of those were signs they confiscated.

Many of you know...Corso put on the Horned Frog head. But... LaVell was the guest during the picks!

The game on the other hand...wasn't as much fun. It was a blow-out. I don't know what BYU's problem was, but they just couldn't score. Their play calling on Offense wasn't that great either. When they should have kicked a field goal, they went for it, and when they went for it, they should have kicked a field goal. They would run the ball and move like 8 yards each time. Then they would pass the ball and it would be an incomplete pass or would only move like 2 yards. For some odd reason, they kept throwing the ball! Why would you do that when you were gaining more yards running it?
