Cool Tutorial---Photoshop Part 1: Layers

I follow the blog--Kevin and Amanda.  She offers so many cool things.  Yesterday she posted a tutorial about how to work with Layers in Photoshop.  It was pretty easy to follow.  (Now I have Paint.net, which is similar to photoshop, but just slightly different.  It does a lot of the same stuff, but they call it a different name.)

I sharpened it, then softened the lighting and changed it to black and white.
